I was following a personal training routine with Lauren for a number of months after having my first baby, she was an excellent trainer. Lauren focused on core areas of muscle training and also pin pointed parts of my body that needed most toning, especially after just having a baby. Within a few sessions I had already noticed more definition in my muscles and was very happy with the increasing results. Her optimism and great attitude encouraged me to keep pushing myself to the limit, whilst always being able to take a break wherever needed. Each session was most enjoyable and also interesting as Lauren was well prepared with varied training schedules. In addition, a bottle of water and towel were always on hand and I was impressed with the variety of equipment used. I highly recommend Lauren as a solid and disciplined personal trainer and have recommended her to many of my friends.

What was apparent to me even before we commenced our sessions was Lauren's enthusiasm and passion. She motivated me to commence training by highlighting the benefits of exercise and inspiring me to want to get fit. Lauren is a professional and fantastic trainer. Before we began she inquired about my recent level of activity and my previous sport history. Lauren was also concerned as to whether I had any injuries. Lauren was very attentive to my goals, she is genuinely committed to how I can get the most out of every session. Lauren was always organized and prepared and used a lot of awesome varied equipment making the sessions fun and varied and exposing me to exercises I have not done before. Lauren always puts a lot of thought into my sessions.

Each session with Lauren felt different, which is brilliant as it made me look forward to new challenges. Lauren is attentive, happy and confident and demonstrates clearly what is required for each exercise. Lauren not only shows me how to do each exercise but is knowledgeable on the benefits of each exercise and what muscle groups I am working and the importance of this. Sessions are tough but always within my capabilities. Lauren is encouraging and positive and she makes me believe I can do things even when I doubt myself. Since commencing my training with Lauren I have noticed increased fitness and energy levels, more muscle definition, improved core strength and have learned a lot - she continues to inspire me to keep my fitness up and be healthy!

I met Lauren a few months after my son was born and she became my PT for over a year. Not only did I go back to my pre pregnancy weight, she also made me feel better than ever! She kept me motivated all the way and also taught me some great nutrition tips. I continue to check her blog regularly to find out about new healthy recipes, especially the yummy gluten-free ones!

Lauren was hands down the best trainer I ever had! I started training with Lauren one year after I had my second child. She pushed me hard but understood my limits so I was able to quickly decrease body fat without injuring myself. Not only did she push me during our sessions, she also provided me with nutritional tips and at home workouts.

I first went to Lauren to help strengthen a knee that was a lot weaker due to a previous injury. I had no other intentions than to get my knee in shape and stable so I could effectively do my job as a dogwalker. Never a fan of the gym due to being a scrawny nerd in high school, Lauren put my old fears at ease by getting me to smile and laugh while pushing me hard.

In short order, I embraced the gym and cherished my time with Lauren. In addition to helping me get over my fears, Lauren thought out and planned workouts that helped me specifically as a dogwalker. When a dog pulls, crosses in front of me, or stops suddenly while the rest of us are still moving, I now have the necessary tools to control my body in a way that prevents injury while performing my job better.

Beyond the noticeable differences in my body and the way I perform my job, the confidence that Lauren has instilled in me is a lifelong gift. I couldn't imagine lifting the barbell at a gym, let alone getting MVP on my volleyball team, a sport I never tried until this year. Yet by conditioning me through stability, strength and confidence, Lauren has given me the tools necessary to thrive through life. I will always be grateful. Thanks, Lauren!

Perhaps I'm biased but I don't think there is a better trainer than Lauren. My story begins after suffering through many years of back,neck and joint pain, yet refusing to address it through exercise. Then I met Lauren. Lauren took the time to listen, evaluate and then design a personal program. I look forward to each and every session with Lauren.

Her wholistic approach to wellness inspired me to work hard and focus; improving my physical and mental well- being. I feel very lucky to know Lauren Johan!
